Downhill pace putts

A putting drill for the Competition stage, on the practice green, in about 12 minutes.

Choose a landing pace that keeps a downhill putt near the hole.

Steps

  1. 01Find a gentle downhill line with a safe stop area behind the hole.
  2. 02Roll six balls with the same read and note start line and pace before changing anything.
  3. 03Keep the next repetition simple: change only one setup, target, or club choice at a time.

Finish with one clear note about the target, contact, landing spot, pace, or decision practiced.
