Girls 12-19: exempt players, qualifiers and selected at-large applicants
Application tip
There is no open entry. Check the tour's qualification criteria and its list of pre-eligible players first. The 2026 registration deadline was set for Monday, October 12 at 11:59 p.m., and the tour gave September 24 as the last day for pre-qualified players to register with a guaranteed spot. The qualifiers scheduled after the deadline were the Middle Atlantic Girls Classic on October 17-18 and the Hampton Roads Girls Classic on October 31 to November 1. An at-large application is a request, not an entry, and the tour says there are no guarantees of at-large selections. The registration page marks the entry as PKBGT members only, while the event page says non-members may apply to participate, so a non-member should ask the tour before applying.
The story
The PKBGT Invitational is the premier event of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls' Golf Tour, which describes itself as the largest girls-only tour in the country. The tour says it was founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit, and its event history for the Invitational begins in 2009. The 2026 Invitational is the 18th. It is an invitation-only championship played in the tour's Bell National division, which the tour's Divisions of Play page lists for girls 12-19. Players earn a place through exemptions, such as a top-five finish in any past Invitational, a top-10 finish in the 2025 Invitational, an overall win in a 2026 PKBGT championship event, a top-25 place on the final 2026 Bell National Order of Merit or a top-50 place on the tour's Performance Index on set dates. The other routes are one of three fall Invitational Qualifiers and a limited number of at-large selections from an application list. The tour is explicit that an at-large application does not guarantee a place. The 18th Invitational is November 14-16, 2026 on the Pete Dye Course at Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, North Carolina, with a practice round and the tour's Inspire. Dream. Achieve. Banquet on Friday, November 13. A field of up to 66 plays two rounds before a cut to the top 50% and ties, and the final round is on Monday. The tour lists past champions including Emilia Migliaccio, Rachel Kuehn, Amanda Sambach and Macy Pate, and says Ella June Hannant won the 17th Invitational in a sudden-death playoff over Kennedy MacCleery.
The venue
The 2026 host is the Pete Dye Course at Country Club of Landfall, 1550 Landfall Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina, listed for the event at par 72 and 6,125 yards with a course rating of 75.6 and slope of 136. The tour describes the club as having 45 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye, and says the Dye Course hosts the Landfall Tradition, a women's college tournament, each October. The tour calls 2026 a return to Landfall, so the host is not the same every year.
Course setup: The tour lists the Dye Course at Country Club of Landfall at par 72 and 6,125 yards for the event, with a course rating of 75.6 and slope of 136. It says the setup will be as close as possible to the Landfall Tradition, the women's college tournament played there in October.
Coach verdict
The tour publishes no coach attendance figure for the Invitational. Its recruiting use is the comparison the tour sets up on purpose: the same course, set up as close as possible to a women's college event played weeks earlier, with results submitted to the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
Best for: Girls 12-19 who have earned a place. That is the age requirement the tour's Divisions of Play page gives for the Bell National division this event is played in: a player must turn 12 by September 30 of the competition year, which the tour runs from October 1 to September 30, and a player who is 18 or 19 must be an amateur who has not enrolled in college. The exemption routes run through PKBGT results, its Order of Merit and its Performance Index, so this is an event for players already competing on the tour.

Competitive insight
The cut is the feature to plan for. Only the top 50% and ties play on Monday, so two steady rounds matter more than one low one. The result also travels. The tour says the top 10 finishers earn invitations to the next Invitational, the top five to its 2027 Spring Bell Invitational, and the top six to the 2027 LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Championship at Pine Needles.

Is it worth the travel?
situational valueThe entry fee is $399 and includes up to four rounds, lunch at each tournament round and two banquet tickets. The tour's hotel block was $149 a night plus tax at the Hilton Garden Inn Mayfaire Town Center, which it puts 3 miles from the club, and it puts the club 9.5 miles from Wilmington International Airport. The trip only arises for a player who has earned a place, and those are the published costs to plan around.
