Colorado PGA: Player Series Starts vs Cup Membership
Colorado PGA’s Junior Player Series and Cup Series connect through several routes. A qualifying start and annual Cup membership are different outcomes.

The short version
- Development, Player and Cup serve different readiness levels.
- A Cup qualifier can be linked to one designated event.
- Q-School and invitation criteria have separate season-specific conditions.
Use the two-axis distinction
One axis asks what your membership lets you request. The other asks what performance in a particular qualifier earns. A designated Cup-event place is not the same outcome as an invitation to Cup membership.
The organizer describes Development as an introductory environment, Player Series as a broader competitive level and Cup as invitation-only. It also requires a rules quiz before event registration.
Read all qualifying conditions together
The Cup page’s 2026 Q-School description combines a field-percentage result with a target score. A player can meet one condition and fail the other. Its mid-season route has its own age, performance, event-count and cutoff conditions.
Some FAQ text still references an earlier season. Use the actual current event notice and confirm any conflict with staff; do not choose whichever version is more favorable.
Plan only confirmed access
Track membership, invitation, qualifier entry and final event acceptance separately. The current invitation criteria are not a forecast of 2027 conditions.
Use schedule planning and first-event preparation after the route is verified.
