IMG golf boarding-school tuition: read the 2027–28 fee card
IMG Academy's full-year golf rate card is explicitly for academy year 2027–28. It is a boarding-school package, separate from camps and golf-club access. Use the grade and boarding or day column first, then add applicable fees and keep credited tuition payments separate from additional costs.

Four fictional ways to read the same rate card
Original teaching comparison
Four fictional ways to read the same rate card- Fictional: returning domestic high-school boarder
- Use the full-year boarding rate and the three listed fixed fees, without conditional additions.
$108,700 plus $2,250 competition, $550 activity and $1,000 health services is $112,500. Adding $7,500 tournament funds gives $120,000 before unpriced or conditional items.
Case 1 - Fictional: new domestic high-school boarder
- Use the same assumptions with the listed $700 new-student fee.
The subtotal becomes $113,200, or $120,700 including tournament funds. These are identified-line subtotals, not a complete personal quote.
Case 2 - Fictional: new domestic high-school day student
- Compare the $88,500 day package with the same fixed fees and $700 new-student fee.
The subtotal is $93,000, or $100,500 with tournament funds. Off-campus housing and transport are outside this package comparison.
Case 3 - Fictional: international or graduating student
- A family sees international, senior and support-service fees in the document.
Check which apply with admissions before totaling them. Do not assume every conditional line applies, or that the standard package covers all required support.
Case 4
Fictional identified-line arithmetic from the official 2027–28 full-year golf PDF read October 24, 2026. Excludes unknown or conditional costs and makes no enrollment, aid or eligibility determination.
The short version
- The 2027–28 high-school golf tuition package is $108,700 boarding or $88,500 day.
- The rate card excludes fixed and conditional fees and a $7,500 tournament deposit.
- The nonrefundable enrollment deposit is credited toward tuition; it is not another annual tuition charge.
2027–28: identify the kind of payment
| Published item | Listed amount | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|
| High-school full-year boarding tuition | $108,700 | Base package; not a 2026–27 invoice |
| High-school full-year day tuition | $88,500 | Base package; off-campus living/transport separate |
| Competition / activity / health-service fees | $2,250 / $550 / $1,000 | Additional fixed listed fees totaling $3,800 |
| New-student fee | $700 | Conditional applicability; examples here are domestic |
| Tournament funds | $7,500 | Required deposit; unused balance refundable, excess can require more |
| Domestic / international enrollment deposit | $10,500 / $13,500 | Nonrefundable tuition payment credited toward total tuition |
| Insurance, meal tax, finance and optional support | Not totaled here | Confirm actual applicability and price before an all-in calculation |
Choose the correct school year and package
The official admissions page separates Spring 2027 tuition from 2027–28 full-year tuition, and links both boys' and girls' full-year golf to the same rate card. The full-year high-school and post-graduate packages list $108,700 boarding and $88,500 day; middle school lists $104,700 boarding and $84,500 day.
The boarding package includes school and sport tuition, standard shared housing and meals. Day tuition includes lunch. Upgraded rooms, laundry, additional meals and certain support services are separate. The figures therefore cannot be used as a camp price, a current 2026–27 invoice or a complete family cost of attendance.
Separate fees from funds that may be returned
The document lists competition, activity and health-service fees separately from tuition. It also lists a $700 new-student fee, different new and returning international fees and a senior fee. Applicability matters: ask which lines belong on the actual offer rather than adding every row indiscriminately.
Tournament funds are different. The $7,500 deposit covers tournament travel and expenses, unused balances are refunded, and additional funds are required if spending exceeds it. The PDF requires it for full-year and single-semester students. Track the amount committed separately from the amount ultimately spent.
Avoid double-counting enrollment and unknown extras
The nonrefundable enrollment deposit is $10,500 for domestic students or $13,500 for international students and goes toward total tuition. Adding it again to an annual tuition subtotal overstates the listed charge. Keep payment timing separate from the full-year cost calculation.
Health insurance is an inquiry item, meal tax is additional, and financing fees apply to the payment-plan option. Support needs and upgrades can also change the bill. The admissions page describes limited need-based aid with demand exceeding availability; an award is not assumed in these examples. Compare the written package and applicable extras before assessing affordability.
