LPGA Q-Series entry and fees: compare your starting stage
LPGA Q-Series does not have one entry price for every player. The starting stage and membership category change when fees are paid and which later payments apply. The examples below use the published 2026 rules; they do not establish eligibility, reopen a deadline or quote a future season.

Four fictional routes through the 2026 fee schedule

Four fictional routes through the 2026 fee scheduleCASE 01
Fictional: starting at Pre-Qualifying
Ava advances through every stage after beginning at Pre.
$3,000 + $3,500 + $0 = $6,500 in published entry fees. The zero is the later Final fee for this route, not a free qualifying season.
CASE 02
Fictional: direct Qualifying entry
Bea has an approved Qualifying-stage exemption and then advances to Final.
$4,500 + $2,000 = $6,500. Starting later changes the payment sequence even though this example reaches the same total.
CASE 03
Fictional: exempt nonmember at Final
Cara meets a published direct-Final category as a nonmember.
Her published direct-entry fee is $6,500. Paying that amount does not itself create the exemption.
CASE 04
Fictional: eligible tour member at Final
Dani is accepted through the applicable LPGA, Epson or LET member direct-Final route.
The published fee is $3,000 for that category, not the nonmember amount. Her actual category must be confirmed.
Invented players and conditional advancement examples. Arithmetic uses published 2026 fees only; no applications, payments or actual player eligibility decisions are represented.
The short version
- Confirm the starting-stage category before adding fees.
- Advancement can trigger a new payment without a new application.
- Entry-fee totals exclude travel, accommodation and personal support costs.
Find the entry category before choosing the route
The eligibility statement uses named member and ranking categories measured at specified dates. A player cannot select a later starting stage simply because its fee looks convenient. Keep the exact exemption, relevant ranking snapshot and LPGA acceptance together before relying on any direct-entry example.
The ordinary age and professional-status tests also change by stage. Earlier stages can include amateurs, while Final requires professional status and has a different age test. Read those provisions with the actual entry category. A result that supports advancement and the status required to use that advancement are separate checks.
Track payments and acceptance separately
The official instructions use the LPGA Portal App and provide partial or full payment options for Qualifying. A partial payment leaves a balance due; a payment receipt is not the same as final entry acceptance. The instructions describe entries beginning as provisional before staff review.
Players who advance are entered by the system into the next stage rather than making another application. Additional fees can still become due. A useful payment record therefore shows the starting route, amount paid, remaining amount, deadline and acceptance status as separate fields. It should not assume automatic advancement means no further payment.
Keep the calendar and full trip budget current
The current Qualifying page reschedules competition to November 3–6, replacing the October dates in the older PDF. The current Final page lists November 19–23. Those competition dates do not establish a new application window or an extension of an earlier payment deadline; narrowly stated late-entry categories must not be generalized.
Build the rest of the trip budget outside the entry-fee column: travel, lodging, meals and any chosen support arrangements. Keep later-stage expenses conditional on advancement and confirm the operator's current withdrawal terms before relying on a refund. None of the fee totals above is a complete cost to pursue a tour card.
