TPC Sawgrass booking: choose the right route for your room and golf
A Sawgrass Marriott room confirmation is not a golf confirmation. TPC Sawgrass publishes different routes for a new stay-and-play package, golf without lodging and travelers who already booked their room elsewhere. Start with the arrangement you actually have, then confirm the course and golf terms separately.

The short version

Identify what has already been reserved
Write the accommodation status first: no room yet, a confirmed Sawgrass Marriott room, or accommodation elsewhere. Add whether the intended golf is The Players Stadium Course or Dye’s Valley. The two courses share a clubhouse, but a destination name or hotel reservation does not specify the course.
For a new combined stay, the published TPC Vacations route offers booking up to twelve months ahead. For golf without lodging, the FAQ lists a fourteen-day direct route. An existing Marriott room booked with reward points or another agency has its own golf-shop contact. Those responsibilities should not be combined into an assumed automatic entitlement.
Check the date and included services
TPC publishes course-specific maintenance closures. Its current schedule lists Stadium closed October 19–November 8, 2026, while Dye’s Valley has different dates. A room available during a closure does not establish that the desired course is playable. Keep the course’s exact operating notice beside the accommodation dates.
The golf FAQ distinguishes green fees, included services, walking upgrades, equipment and gratuity. Clarify the actual quoted product rather than multiplying a starting rate into a complete package total. If walking or a particular caddie arrangement matters, confirm that service separately before the round.
Keep two confirmations and the correct deadline
The operator says a credit card holds a direct starting-time reservation without collecting payment then. Its listed cancellation periods differ: fifteen days for Stadium online reservations, seven days for other Stadium reservations and two days for Dye’s Valley. Read the actual booking’s terms, especially when its timing already falls inside a listed period.
Record the room’s cancellation terms independently from golf, and keep the course, date, player count, services, payment timing and cancellation contact in the golf confirmation. A completed room reservation and an unanswered golf request are still separate states. Plan the trip around the confirmations actually received.
