Idaho splits golf by school size, not by gender. Schools in 6A and 5A play in the fall and schools in 4A and 3A play in the spring; boys and girls follow the same calendar within each group. Classification enrollment in grades 9-12 is 6A 1,400 and over, 5A 700-1,399, 4A 350-699 and 3A 349 and under.
