The confidence standard

An event earns visibility from its organizer, then depth from review.

Public indexes can help us discover that an event may exist. They cannot make it publishable. Tessaira confirms the event against the organizer's own public page and applies the same inclusion rules to every record before it can appear here. Tessaira analysis is a separate, clearly labeled layer.

Every listed event must meet all four rules

  1. 1. The event is run by an identifiable governing body, tour or association with a public entry page.
  2. 2. Entry is open, or the organizer publishes its qualification criteria.
  3. 3. The organizer publishes an entry deadline or entry window.
  4. 4. The organizer publishes an age band covered by Tessaira.

Verification and freshness

Each event page names and links the organizer source and shows when it was checked. Dates, eligibility and entry details are published only when the organizer page independently confirms them.

Organizer pages are rechecked incrementally. If an event has not been refreshed within 14 days, its identity and official link can remain listed, but time-sensitive details such as fees, registration status, eligibility and recognition are suppressed. The page tells families to reconfirm those details with the organizer.

We list events whose organizers publish details that Tessaira is permitted to fetch and independently confirm. When a host forbids automated access, we respect that instruction and do not republish unverified event facts; families can still use that organizer's own site directly.

We do not reproduce organizer descriptions or article text. Tessaira publishes confirmed event facts and its own categorization of what the event is for.

Organizer-confirmed events carry that exact confidence label. When a Tessaira editor adds a parent-facing stage rationale and completes the required analysis modules, the label changes to Tessaira reviewed. Estimates, score context and coach-attendance analysis never appear on an organizer-confirmed-only record.

What Tessaira is—and is not

Tessaira is an independent research and planning platform. We are not the tournament organizer, we do not accept entries, and no organization pays to be included. Current dates and entry decisions belong with the organizer, which is why every event routes back to its verified official page.
