What the fee actually buys
Golf Galaxy lists a free 30-minute Quick Fit for guided club demos, a one-hour Signature Fit at $29.99–$49.99 and a $149.99 full-bag service in 1–2-hour sessions. Its paid listings include a ball comparison. These prices were read October 21, 2026, before applying conditional member offers.
True Spec lists driver fitting at $175, full bag at $375 and full bag with putter at $475, with putter fittings at selected locations. For a concrete location example, its West Palm Beach menu lists one hour for the $175 driver fitting and 2.5 hours for the $375 full bag, excluding the putter. Those timings are specific to that location; confirm the selected store’s scope and duration before booking. These menus do not prove one provider produces better outcomes.

The $900 is an assumed complete-build quote for this illustration, not an offer or a typical market price. Add tax, delivery and any other quoted charge. Do not add a shaft price twice if it is already included in the build. The first option assumes there is no purchase requirement; confirm that before booking.
Get the quote into separate lines
- Appointment: club categories, time, fee and what happens if you buy nothing.
- Equipment: head model, loft, shaft, length, grip and any build or adjustment charge.
- After the fitting: whether you receive specifications and data, and whether follow-up adjustments cost extra.
- Conditions: deposit, cancellation terms, promotion eligibility and whether the fee is credited against a qualifying purchase.
- Total: tax, shipping and the final amount due.
A fee credit is conditional until the qualifying purchase is confirmed. A price displayed online is not a live quote for your location, and neither is evidence that money has been spent.
Choose the scope that answers your question
For a single club problem, ask whether an individual appointment is enough. For gaps across the bag, confirm which clubs the full-bag service covers and whether the putter is included. Avoid paying for a broad package without a clear question to answer.
