Compare the same playing schedule
The fictional rental costs$135 across three billed days. The supplied transport costs total$95. Change the rental period or airline terms and the comparison changes. These teaching amounts are not live offers, and no airline allowance is assumed.
Check whether a rental is billed per round, calendar day or 24-hour period. A set collected the evening before golf can have a different bill from one collected just before the tee time.
Confirm the equipment before committing
Ask for handedness, approximate length or junior sizing, set contents, shaft options if offered, bag availability and whether the quoted model is guaranteed. A statement that rentals exist does not confirm an appropriate set for your dates.
Pinehurst publishes its own rental offering; use it only for that facility. Confirm the current official hire route and the actual collection location before travel.
Plan for the practical handoff
Record where the set is collected, when it must return, damage terms and what happens if the reserved type is unavailable. If bringing clubs, read the carrier’s current baggage and packing conditions directly before travel.
Use fee inclusions to avoid counting a rental already bundled in a package, and course selection to match equipment to the intended visit.
Count the actual published set contents
Two GetClubs descriptions checked October 23, 2026 show why “complete set” should not be read as “14 clubs.” Both are men’s right-handed listings with regular/stiff options. The table follows their written specifications, not a confirmed bag for any date.

The count is 1 driver + 1 fairway + 1 hybrid + 7 irons + 1 wedge + 1 putter = 12. The Qi35 description expressly lengthens the irons and wedge; do not extend that statement to its woods or putter.
There are unresolved catalog differences. Elyte image labels show a 3 hybrid and OG Seven putter, while the body lists 4H and Double Wide. The Qi35 wedge image label says Qi4D 60°, while the body offers MG3/MG4 56°. The table is not confirmation of which item will arrive: ask the provider to resolve the exact configuration before paying. No date-specific stock or rental-quality test is claimed.
Separate facility examples checked October 22, 2026: PGA WEST lists men's and women's model families and right/left configurations but excludes extended or shortened lengths; exact counts and unlisted flexes need confirmation. Palm Beach Gardens lists adult and junior rentals but does not establish complete models, handedness or sizing in its FAQ. Do not transfer the GetClubs inventory to either facility.
