Mass Golf championships do not share one age limit, handicap maximum or selection method. Choose the event, then read its exact 2026 conditions as a dated example before checking a future edition.

  1. Which event?

    Ava is comparing an age-restricted individual event with a team event.

    Choose the actual championship before applying its age date or deciding whether the Index screen is individual or combined.

  2. What happens after eligibility?

    Her Index meets the stated maximum, but the page also lists local qualification or low-to-high selection.

    Keep an eligible entry, a qualifying place and a championship place as separate outcomes.

  3. Which competition?

    She is choosing a women's Championship or Tournament division.

    Check whether the division is gross only or gross/net rather than assuming every competitor enters the same scoring category.

  4. Which date?

    The registration Index, entry-close selection and net revision can refer to different dates.

Start with the conditions shared by these pages

Each compared 2026 page requires active Mass Golf membership and five rounds played and posted at a Mass Golf member club or course within twelve months of that event's entry close. Five lifetime rounds or a membership purchase alone does not satisfy the same stated condition.

Then read the event-specific maximum and date. The table separates registration screening from any later field selection or qualification. It intentionally does not turn an old full or waitlist label into current availability, and it does not carry a 2026 condition forward as a confirmed 2027 rule.

Do not borrow an age or selection rule

Senior Amateur uses 55 in the compared 2026 terms; Women's Senior uses 50. Women's Senior Legends uses 65, while Super Senior Legends uses 70. The event and exact birthday-measurement date therefore belong together.

Some pages list local qualifying; several women's and team events select nonexempt entrants by Index at close. Those are different gates after eligibility. For a pair, a combined selection Index can coexist with an individual eligibility maximum. Do not turn a low-to-high field process into first-come entry or a guarantee at the published maximum.

Keep net scoring separate from registration

A registration Index screen does not by itself establish the Playing Handicap for a net division. The Keyes Cup and Stone Cup pages give different dated scoring references, while several other pages still sayTBA. Do not substitute one event's known revision for another's missing field.
